Who Are We
Medicuz is the vision of Mr. Bhavesh Shah and Mr. Manav Shah which came into existence in
December 2025.
The idea behind Medicuz came from a case in Abu region of Gujarat where one of the family member of a patient had to travel 100+ kms to get the prescribed medicine. After researching and discussing with thousands of doctors, a list of issues were made. We tried to find the root cause of these issues and discovered that there is no such platform where all the stakeholders of healthcare industry can come together to discuss and communicate with each other. Doctors also informed that they cannot reach pharma industries easily to discuss about the medicines and their feedback directly.
Healthcare industry of India has been ranked 145th in the global list in terms of quality and accessibility of health which highlights how far the industry is when considering India has the 5th largest economy in the world. The major reason behind this is that a large portion of the rural population is still underprivileged as they are unable to acquire medical help for their needs due to a lack of availability of medicines and the cost of prescribed medicines in their areas.
This is where the role of Medicuz comes into play by connecting all the healthcare sectors together — including Indian Citizens, Doctors, Hospitals, Pharmaceutical Companies and NGOs — on one unified platform to bridge the existing communication gap between these five parties and strengthen emergency support, transparency, decision-making and nationwide medical responsiveness in both rural and urban areas.
Many specialized, experienced and newly qualified doctors in our country, especially in tier-2 and tier-3 cities, do not have a platform to share their knowledge or expertise due to limited opportunities or financial constraints. Indian citizens struggle to access reliable medical information and timely help, hospitals often face delays in receiving crucial updates, pharmaceutical companies require responsible channels to communicate their product details, and NGOs need a structured system to reach communities and coordinate health initiatives effectively.
As our government’s biggest goal is to make India digitally advanced in terms of medical facilities, services and awareness, we aspire to create a strong technology-driven network between all healthcare stakeholders and address the major gaps that impact people across the country.
This was the reason to come up with a platform where all the stakeholders of the healthcare industry — Indian Citizens, Doctors, Hospitals, Pharmaceutical Companies, NGOs, Doctor Associations, Government bodies, etc. — can come together to connect, collaborate and contribute towards a unified healthcare system that serves every level of society.
It is every right of a doctor to connect with pharmaceutical companies and vice versa to discuss products and logistics. At the same time, Indian citizens deserve immediate clarity and support, hospitals deserve seamless coordination, and NGOs deserve the right channels to drive meaningful healthcare activities — all of which Medicuz enables on a single platform.
With the idea to grow Startup India by our Prime Minister Narendra Modi and to promote DPCO, we launched the Medicuz App to help and benefit the healthcare industry as much as possible. We are connecting Pharmaceutical Companies and NGOs with around 19,000+ PIN codes at present to improve reach and simplify distribution. Indian citizens receive verified medical support, doctors gain purposeful collaboration, hospitals receive organized communication, pharmaceutical companies get regulated interaction, and NGOs receive enhanced outreach.
We are providing a stage for doctors to exchange ideas, discuss cases and seek senior second opinions in emergencies, while enabling citizens to access timely updates, hospitals to manage crucial information, pharmaceutical companies to share accurate product insights, and NGOs to run impactful healthcare campaigns.
Medicuz has surveyed the top 10 developed and developing countries to study the major issues in the healthcare industry, and the research is still ongoing. We believe India’s global rank can improve significantly if all doctors, pharmaceutical companies, hospitals, NGOs and citizens support us by connecting with this technology-driven platform.
We aspire to be India’s top healthcare services providing app. And with this pace, we believe that it is not very far to achieve our dream to improve healthcare to make India healthy
